Do I need to know any Chinese already?
No. Complete beginners are welcome. We’ll start with sounds and tones and build from there.
Do you teach Traditional or Simplified characters?
Traditional characters, the way Taiwan writes them. When the simplified form is different, I’ll show you that too.
Is Taiwan Mandarin different from China’s Mandarin?
The grammar is the same, so you can talk with Chinese speakers anywhere. Some words, pronunciations and the writing system differ, and I’ll point those out as we go.
Where do lessons happen?
Online, by video call. Lessons run on Taiwan time (GMT+8), and we’ll find a slot that works for both of us.
How do I pay?
By Wise from anywhere, or by bank transfer if you’re in Taiwan. You pay before each plan starts.
Why do you ask questions before the trial?
With only 5 trial spots a month, I want to make sure I can really help you. Your answers tell me your goal, level and schedule, so your trial is already tailored to you.

I keep my schedule small so every student gets real attention. If this month is full, I’ll save you a spot for the next one.
